In 2020, First Bank supported the everRestless project - 6633 ARCTIC ULTRA
The ultra-marathon runner Vlad Crișan-Pop embarked on the race to run 620 km in harsh conditions, at the Arctic Circle.
The stake: Raising awareness of the needs of children with cancer and awarding 100 MagiCAMP educational scholarships for these children.
The Magic Association is one of the most important charities in Romania. Through the projects of the association, children and parents are offered access to social and emotional support complemented by financial or material support, during the period when the child is ill.

“A good deed at your fingertips” is an initiative that encourages First Bank employees to use the option of redirecting 3.5% of the income tax to an NGO of their choice.
“Giving back” is one of the most important values of First Bank: bringing people close together in helping others, and making a difference in the world around us.
Every year, each employee can choose to redirect 3.5% of the income tax to a cause they believe in.
Whether they wish to support education, social assistance projects or animal protection initiatives, the involvement doesn’t go unnoticed.
For example, nationwide, with the support of contributors, during the last 10 years the Save the Children Foundation has managed to equip more than 100 maternity hospitals in the country, to provide medical and social services for 56,000 pregnant women, young mothers and children and to support hospitals in the fight against Covid 19 with 300,000 units of medical and protective equipment.
Predeal Forest Run is a mountain running event for both amateurs and experienced runners. The second edition of the competition took place on August 28, 2021.
Predeal Forest Run has a social cause behind it: the funds collected as registration fee in this year edition will support the Magic Association, to set up a playground for onco-pediatric patients, hospitalized at the Children's Hospital in Brașov, Romania.
We teamed up and sent our First Bank ambassadors to endorse the cause.
